REPORT 1 : 25 December, 2008 by Donna from Springerville, AZ.
We spotted it on the old Bigelow homestead. It was walking down the treeline along the Little Colorado River on the south side of the creek. It was huge--about 8 feet tall. It seem too worried about us either. We were on the road a good 100 yards from the creature, and we were in our truck. We had just dropped down off the plane on the South Fork access road. We wanted to look at the old abandoned house. When we spotted it. It was large, looked black. There was no clothing, so it was not a man. We watched it until it moved back into the tree line. A good 4 minutes, but we had no cameras. with us. It was about day break.

Question/comment: I lived in Flagstaff in 1989-90 I photographed 2 sets of footprints leading into and away from a water hole near peach springs. I was at a stand and before calling coyotes I walked around the water hole looking for lion tracks as I had 2 tags. When I had the film processed I took it in to the sheriff’s office and showed the desk sergeant the 20 photos I had taken, the officer told me they were barefoot Indians, until he recognized the pack of camel cigarettes I had placed lying beside the 2 footprints. He then asked if he could keep them to show other officers I said sure, I made copies later...the large print was near 19inches the small one was near 14 inches. I followed them in my truck, they travelled miles across the soft desert sand and I lost them in a rocky area. At the water hole they appeared very fresh maybe 2hrs. Maybe less, at the water hole. I expected to drive up on them as they didn’t seem rushed but meandered here and there.

Very interesting. I have lived in Arizona all my life and spent a great deal of time on the reservations. I have never heard of a barefoot Indian Tribe :) especially, with 19 inch feet. I have had a lot of comments like that, because for some reason, they just don't want to admit there could be a bigfoot--especially in Arizona. I would love to have a copy of any pictures you want to share. One reason is to compare the prints to what I have found (size, shape toes etc). I would like to also share your story with other Arizona bigfoot hunters. We can keep you identity confidential if you wish.
Recently, I have started asking folks if they would mind giving a video interview. This is to help build a documentary I am working on which I plan to present to various agencies such as Monster Quest, and the History Channel. Let me know if you would be interested.

Question/comment: comment on photo gallery 2 scat and colon size....1 1/2 to 2 inch is small, could it be a juvenile? I found scat colon size 3 1/2 to 4 inches. First deposit was as large and deep as a 14 inch cast iron frying pan pool of black diarrhea then on top and beside there was about 2 feet of coffee mug size black scat. I thought at first it was a monster Alaskan brown bear, but they aren't found in Ontario. I learned later what it was that made that mess, from a trapper. Funny you mention they smell like dead fish? I always smell them as rotting beaver's in laying in water...yuk! Which now when I read yours it is somewhat fishy.

I suppose the size of the scat would have some what to do with what they are eating along with their age. I do believe I have 5 to 11 Bigfoot in my group, possibly more now that I have learned about a place called Spooky Valley. Mostly what we have seen are the juveniles. But, we have caught a couple of sightings of the big adult. He his huge. Bigger than I imagined. He stood by a rock and his hip was at the same height. Later, my grand son 5' 6" tall stood by the same rock. His head came to the top of the rock. We estimate the big daddy to be between 8 to 10 foot and about 800 pounds. I am sure more will come this summer as we hit the area again.

I live in Canada now about 2,800 miles away...I did a monster quest interview last summer. They have several freelance videographers that travel all around the planet. I met 2 of them here in Ontario I think the sheriffs was trying to pull my leg...until he saw the camel cigarette pack....then he was very interested and asked me would I be willing to share anymore photos I get...I said sure no problem... I never looked there again. Just too far out of the way.
My first sighting was in 1968 in a ghost town where my family lived alone most of the year. My last contact was 3 chest thumps and 4whoops last October. I follow large deer herds and that is the best source of finding signs, that I’ve used. forget the lighting and throw away your flashlights or cover them with deep red plastic bags and duct tape them tight....animals that can see in the dark use ultraviolet so their deep red infrared sensors are nonexistent but we have no ultraviolet and some near infrared so we can see them they see us but they cant see our lights.....kind of like the predator movie. Deer are the same. Flashlights and lanterns will make them nervous and they may just leave the area all together.
800 lbs is too light try 1 ton. I have a sister that’s 5 foot tall and weighs 300lbs. and fat is lighter than muscle and bone. a friend of mine and his wife sighted one at least 15 feet tall... first thought to be only 8 foot tall then measured 2 weeks later with the help of another friend who is swat team member in the Toronto police force. Bigfoot are like deer...the further north you travel the larger the whitetails get....average size whitetail in Florida is 90lbs. Pennsylvania is 175lbs. here its not uncommon to take a 400lb. whitetail. I think all Bigfoot are surrounded by large family groups maybe as many as 20 in a troupe. The thumps and whoops were from 2 different animals at a spread of at least 250feet. Within 30seconds. So they aren’t alone! my first sighting in 1968 consisted of two different animals of different sizes within 10 minutes.....remember they like woman...they'll chase smaller people under 5 foot and shy away from large males, I am a small built guy 5'8" and 150lbs. and if I come near them I immediately lay down or sit....then wait for the approach...I use 10power binoculars to pick out pieces instead of looking for the whole animal....remember too they are more likely to be seen sitting or lying prone on the ground watching you....then standing in plain sight.
I don’t have those photos any longer....not everyone saw what I saw and I just threw them out. you can use my report and my name of goldbugjoey or mike...you can expand on it if you wish too so as to make it more readable for a web surfer, add other info from these emails too if you wish...you must consider yourself very lucky... as I believe you are. 2 days on a river bed I found 33 footprints but only about 15 were good enough to photograph.....a stereo camera would do wonders for a good photo to look great! I need to build one in 35mm film to offset all the Photoshop junk out there...I’d say good luck this year but you bunch don’t need it....keep up the great work....mike
P.S. want to get them talking Japanese? Rock clacking 3 times hard worked 3 times for me. And knocking trees with a fist sized rock work once. I skin the bark off the tree with a knife at the back so no one from the trail sees it, then whack it 3 times with a rock loud as hell. Try it when rock clacking use granite fist size rocks in each hand and wear heavy leather padded gloves.... or you'll get stung bad!

I and my nephews was fishing one in 2008 on or around in January near PIR on the Gila river, around 11 pm or so we started to hear big rocks being thrown into the river close to us, the dry river bed is located around 100 ft from the spot where we were fishing and is surrounded by tall Cyprus trees and a lot of bush. but the rocks were being thrown over these after about the third one was thrown I shouted out that I had a gun and if the person or persons did not stop throwing rocks and spooking the fish we were (we were catching catfish) I was going to let off a few rounds their way if they did not stop throwing rocks, I had a 20 gauge assault shotgun, aster two more rocks I again shouted a warning, the rocks continued, so I let off two shoots one more big rock splashed in the water not 10 feet from us. When we started to go towards the spot where we thought they were coming from, we kind of started to probe the area with flash lights, then upstream out of sight from us we heard two splashing foot falls crossing the river to the other side where it was very dark and wooded the river where we thought the person or thing crossed is around 14 ft across it's not very deep but for something or someone to cross in two steps in unbelievable. then after a few minutes the rock throwing began from the other side of the river. We got scared and left the area in a hurry.

I thought you guys may be interested in reading about my encounter with Bigfoot on HWY 180 in 1990.
The story is too long to post here, but this is the link to where I posted it on my blog: http://robojapan.blogspot.com/2009/03/close-encounter-with-bigfoot-highway.html
