QUESTION 1:  How big is the bigfoot in the thermal images?  I guessed maybe 10 feet tall after watching the You Tube link.

Question 3: Hey. I saw your hair on the site. I have a friend, wolf henner fahrenbach who i could send it too for dna extraction. You dont mind if i examine the hair under my microscope bc i could compare it to a booklet of animal hairs of american species

Question 4: How old do you have to be to join the expeditions?

ANSWER 1:  The You Tube clip may not be totally accurate.  The man in the trees may have been standing in the background a bit more and the original point where the thermal pictures were taken may not be exact.  From another sighting we were able to get a more exact comarison.  When the Mogollon Monster came out of the cave (on a previous trip), it stood next to some rocks.  One of our members went and stood at the same place.  He is 5'6" tall and his head came to top of the rocks which were at the Mogollon Monster's Hip.  This puts the creature at about 8.5 feet tall and we figure about 600 pounds.  Of course, we are assuming that these are the same creatures.  We know of at least 5 others.

ANSWER 2:  We have taken 5 different sets of prints and 7 bags of scat.  The prints were from different places and sizes.  The colon size of the scat also varied in size.  We are saying there are at least 5 possibly more.

Answer 3:  Yes, I  have heard of Wolf Henner Fahrenbach.  I tried to contact him when I first received the hair samples, but was unsucessful in reaching him. I would be very interested in his evaluation.  

Unfortunately, I only have a couple of hairs.  One from an adult and two from a youth.  I have had problems retrieving the hairs from institutions and personnel who have made examination requests, and learned very quickly that you don't send unsolicited samples with any hopes of getting them back.  Each want to take and keep a snip or the whole hair.  Therefore, I have created a waiting list. If you would like to be added to that list, please let me know.  I don't believe I have enough to pull any good DNA because the hair does not have roots.  It has a high tincil strength which surprised me when I was removing it from the duct tape.  I thought it would break into many pieces, but it remained in tact. 

The Forest Service has expressed their displeasure with me setting up hair traps for any amount of time, or any bait stations which would attract bears.  I have been threatened with fines if I get caught putting out any duct tape hair-traps, and they are threatening to take my trail cameras if they are found. Therefore, I am in the process of figuring out how to pull more hair without attracting the attenion of the Rangers.  Any suggestions?

Currently, the location is locked down for the winter by the Forest Service and no one can enter until spring. I do hope to be able to recover more hair this spring/summer if the creatures do not migrate.  If you would like, I can put you on the list to receive a sample of any new hair samples, and keep you posted of any findings we make when doing field research.

Since I am short on hair, I could send you a complete photo work-up of both the adult and youth hair with a record of the magnification and possibly the size or diameter of the hairs. I may even be able to polarize the shots for a good look at possible hair scales on the exterior of the hair. There is no medula in either samples.  Or if you are local, we might be able to make arrangements for you to examine the hairs here in Mesa, Az.  Of course, all photos are copyrighted and may not be used in any publications or media without expressed written permission from Southwest Publications.  Use of the photos may be authorized for research purposes, but will be done on a case by case basis.

One thing I have that may be of interest to you is Scat. I have seven bags of Scat that may produce DNA and possible hair samples.  You might be interested in doing some Microsocpic work and DNA testing on a sample.  It would also yield more information as to the creature's diet. I would be willing to ship you a small sample if you share the test results with us.  So far we have had one Biologist from the Unviersity of Illinois declare it to be from a "spiecies unknown".  I would like to have several offical confirming reports.
